In those sames tales it is said that It was turned to stone by the severed head of Medusa, held by the heroic hand of Perseus in order to save the damsel Andromeda. Also a terrible lie.
The Kraken was no where near Greece.
It lies in the ice cold waters off the shores of Norway. Deep thousands of miles under the surface it lurks awaiting it's cue to resurface..work in progress
