Once upon a time there was a beautiful land filled with strong, tall, growing trees, and long open meadows. It was home to many types of animals and plants. It was Lan's home. He would run through the fields and race through the forest chasing the sun and moon. This was his home and he was happy. Then, one day they came. They took and took from the forest. They didn't care about anything but themselves. They tore apart the meadows, cut down the trees, ate all the fruits and vegetation, and worst of all hunted the animals. They just kept taking and taking. The land became smaller and smaller until there was nothing left. Lan's home is now gone. He wanders this cold and barren land now. The happiness and song has left his heart along with his friends and family. He stays here in hopes that one day, the damage that was done will heal and the land will come alive again.
