Everyday is like clockwork.

She's going to make it. They told me she was lucky I was driving by when she crashed, she probably would have died if I hadn't called it in. I feel so...alive. I haven't felt this way in such a long time. I've been living so dully these past few years, but now I just want to run around the world and experience everything.

scene ideas:
- Konrad sitting in a crowded coffee shop alone, camelia plops down at his table since everything else is full
sitting alone in the coffee shop again, brought this book that I borrowed from rob(?), well more like he forced it upon me because it's supposedly the greatest thing ever. It gives me something to do though besides watch other people while I drink my coffee. The shop is pretty crowded today, I guess they're holding an event to support some cause. I wish I'd known, I would have stayed at home instead of dealing with this but since I drove out here I might as well stay for a bit.

Who gets a smoothie at a coffee shop anyways? Weird. She looks pretty intent on sucking her smoothie down though so I should be able to start my book in peace.
Oh wow you're reading _______? I love that book! It's such a beautiful story and the characters are just...wonderful, I wish I could read about them forever but the author does such a good job of bringing the book to a close. You'll probably cry about five times though, just a warning.
._____. Actually my coworker is forcing me to read it, he doesn't always have the best taste so I'm not sure what to expect.

basic story til I start writing
Konrad is a character who's rather lost in life, not really sure of what to do with himself. Not quite depressed but living a very bland life that doesn't provide any real happiness. He's afraid to put himself out into the world and instead tends to stay within his boundaries and live the same life that he's been living. He goes through the motions of life but often feels empty inside.
One day though, he feels the pulse of someone (maybe himself and he just has a sudden revelation, or possibly saves the life of someone and feels their pulse) and realizes that he is alive and needs to join the rest of the living. So he starts to do things that he's always wanted to do but was always afraid to pursue, and begins to feel alive again.
