What if!
Those two words can hold many questions. However, do you really want to know the answer for any of those questions?
Those words open the possibilities of things we don't want to happen, things we desire, or things we don't care about.
What if I was rich?
There could be greedy people around you and could be hard to know who is who.
What if pigs could fly?
Then, many people could lose some bets and pigeons pooping won't be so bad.
What if I lost everything I love?
Then, you might find something new to love.
What if I could live forever?
Now, that's something I had no choice but to find out.

My owner was a very smart scientist, well he may still is. He created me as a pet. He gave me enough intelligence to have a decent conversation with him, help him, repair myself, and learn new things on my own. He made me out of silver, that was just to prevent bacteria growing on me. He was/is a great owner.
The reason I can't tell if he is alive or not is the following. He discovered how to control time and space. While he went around time, I had to stay put and take care of the laboratory.
The first time he went to time, he didn't come back in 50 years. For he, it was just a couple of months. He told me his amazing adventures in time.
Next time was a week later. However, he was much older. I guess that's the oldest I have see him. He was very happy to see me and asked me to forgive him for what I was about to endure. At that moment, I was just starting to wonder when was the next time I was going to see him again. He told me to get out the laboratory and to have a life of my own, to do not wait for him.
When I first got out of the laboratory, some people thought I was a monster or an alien machine, while others thought I was the hope for humanity. As time past, those people died and I just became something normal for people.
Over the course of 10,000 years, my owner still visited me. He even took me to those amazing adventures he talked about, all in my timeline. However, he toll me there were short visits since he still had to visit me in many distant futures. He also said that each time there will be a long time difference each time he visited me.
I remember my first 1 million years, which was when I stop counting time. People no longer lived on earth. With the helped of other people, I was able to transfer the laboratory to another small planet. It was funny since he never expected that. However, it took him more then 200,000 years this time to see me.
Time past, so the time for people. Seemed like nobody created a time machine or anything similar. I was there when the last couple of humans died. They had no longer called themselves human as they had evolved so much.
Last time I saw him, he was just a tiny bit younger then the second time I saw him. I toll him there was nothing else for me, that I didn't have a purpose apart from keeping his laboratory. He then smiled and said, "Next time I see you, I will take you with me." Then he leaved.

Time, I really hate it.
All I have left are two words.
What if!
What if he doesn't come back?
What if I was wrong and he died after the last time I saw him?
What if he just went to the past to appologise for leaving me?
What if he comes back right now?
