Born into a magic using family, he grew up learning all the magic ways.
His powers were only strong during the night hours. Conjuring up little spells to do chores, make food, many little things.
Soon, he began to learn how to put spells on others. For "fun".
He began on small animals, birds were the easiest to catch.
But one of the birds was a demon.
Putting a fun little spell on the demon made it furious, cursing Vhesp with a painful spell.
'You think it's funny to play tricks on little animals, boy?!'
A spell that made him have feathers, his arm into wings.
Embarrassed by his new look, he ran away from home, finding a new place to live.
Lives in a forest place, secluding himself from his old friends and family.
Even the old town he used to live in.
The villagers around started up rumors about him.
How he became a child-snatching, cursing monster. A dark wizard.
He was alone for a long, long time. He hadn't forgotten about his family, but they had to have forgotten him.
After a number of years, someone had entered his forest, not knowing what danger was lurking around the trees.
Vhesp didn't like visitors of any kind, but he wasn't mean enough to curse, or kill, them.
Frustrated by the new body, he quickly set out the scare them off. But it was no use.
'This little bugger is stubborn...'
After many failed attempts to scare the trespasser, he decided to take him in.
Another cursed soul, Ian.
The little cat-boy seemed to have some magical powers of his own, and they were helpful in more ways than one.
