Kreager anthro/human

Kreager is in his late twenties, stands a little shorter than average height. His stylishly `messy-cut` hair is a darkish brown colour with a few carefully placed dusty teal streaks and reaches to his shoulders. His wardrobe is focused around his job; the clothing in his closet is designer made, custom tailored and has enough variety to be appropriate for whatever his client has in mind. His manners are perfectly balanced between socially acceptable and playfully engaging--he wants his clients to have a nice time, without risking their hearts.

Raised by nannies who were hired or fired based upon whatever top selling book his parents happened to hear about most recently--his heart was ripped apart every time. His parents were far more concerned with their own careers and social status than in developing a bond with their only son. It took a humiliatingly public incident involving a search-warrant, looking for pictures, for them to notice something odd about how close Kreager\'s first male nanny was with him. The trial (and hundreds of pictures the tabloids must never gain access to) was hushed-up as much as possible and Kreager was shuttled off to a private high school when he turned fourteen the following year.

In high school and later in college he observed that all of the tangled relationships around him provided an opportunity which was only being partially exploited, usually in vulgar ways. After graduation he placed an ad in the paper and put together a simple website with a simple goal; give people an option when it comes to the \'casual date\'.

He is now self employed as a professional escort however, rather than offering a few hours of physical affection he provides his clients with someone who will listen or carry shopping bags around the mall, go to a gallery or movie, he even knows the local biking and hiking trails, but most importantly he acts as a buffer for women--or men--who wish to avoid annoying come-on lines and temporary relationships. His goal is to protect others from needlessly being hurt by `love`.

He lives and works in an area known for being a major vacation destination and also one of those perfect little tropical spots where the movie stars and rich folk go to `get away from it all`. Which means his clients can be anyone from anywhere, most either call not really believing the newspaper ad or because of some `word of mouth` reference they`ve received. His little street-front shop is not a hive of activity but the door usually admits one or two curious, potential clients a day and the police keep a close eye on what they consider to be a one-man whore-house. His apartment upstairs is a nice sunny flat that lacks personal touches or even a hint of that `homey feeling` a place of residence usually has.

The name Tama can mean different things depending upon the origin you assign it. Fox, jewel and surprise are all accurate and come from entirely different areas of the world. All of these meanings though apply to Kreager`s Soulfox. It lives in a paper lantern which he hangs from the ceiling of his apartment, moving it from near the sitting room window to above the kitchen table to over by the door or anywhere else he decides to hang it. With a touch he can summon the luminous creature or just speak to the paper globe. Either way, he knows Tama hears him.
