What can I tell you about Karl? Oh well, he is German, sixteen years old, slender, blind as a mole without his glasses and your typical band-shirt, jeans and chucks type of person. Karl is highly intelligent and avoids doing useless stuff, meaning for example that if he reads a book it's for sure not a shabby crime novel but maybe something like a scientific book about the history of conjoined twins.

Nevertheless he is also a social guy and has a couple of good friends that love him even though he can be a little annoying at times as he often rambles on about this and that and, in a lot of cases, about stuff only he seems to be interested in. They also accept (and even adore) the fact that, despite trying to appear so grown-up otherwise, he owns a little teddy bear named "Fränzchen" that he takes with him everywhere.

Karl doesn't smoke, he despises alcohol and he would rather cut his own legs off than ever taking drugs. So far love hasn't been an issue for him but there are rumors that recently he has developed feelings for one of his male friends that are going beyond a deep friendship; if asked about this topic Karl becomes quite defensive though and keeps telling that he doesn't need a relationship of that kind.
