I'll take the fall for you.
The large dog ran. He smelled the grass and the flowers, felt the sun on his fur and he heard birds sing their songs but his eyes were only focusing the forest in front of him. This time he would reach it, he would jump over the fence and follow the warm light shining between the trunks and branches. And then he would finally get to know what is was. His heart beat like a hammer in excitement, never had he been more curious about something than about this wonderful warm light and in his anticipation he began to bark. The fence that enclosed the pasture came closer and closer, only a few more leaps and~
"Dominic?" The voice was soft like a snowflake but strong enough to stop his run. The dog stood still and listened, his heart still pounding hard. "Who is this?" he wanted to ask but all that left his throat was a little yelp. At the same time he noticed his surroundings again and the forest in front of his eyes - it moved away from him. Or did he move backwards? He couldn't tell but he knew that he didn't like what he saw. "No, no, nooo!" he thought and began running towards the forest again but he had no chance. Whatever pulled him, or the trees, back was much faster.
"We all miss you so much. Please don't give up fighting. We need you, Dom!" Again that voice, this time accompanied by a strange feeling on his left paw - like someone was gently holding it. Stroking it. Something inside of him told him that he knew this voice and that it was important to listen to it but why exactly his mind still refused to reveal.
"I love you, Domino." The last sentence stroke him like a lighting. Domino. Only one person called him like that. It was Tyler, his fiancé. It was him and he was waiting. Immediately the dog turned around, now facing the direction he knew the voice was coming from. Then he began to run again, faster than he ever ran before.
Would he live or die?

Dominic Rowntree still in critical conditionTwenty-eight year old Dominic Rowntree, who saved a sixteen year old girl from being raped last Saturday and was nearly beaten to death by the offenders, still hasn't regained consciousness.
"We do what we can for sure," Doctor Gordon Mills, principal consultant of the Newport Hospital, said during yesterdays' press conference "however in cases like these it's always difficult to make any predictions. He can wake up today, in six months, or never if we are unlucky."
According to witness statements Rowntree interrupted the attempted rape of a sixteen year old student in a side street next to the disco "Millenium". The girl was able to flee and call for help, Rowntree however got severely beaten by the two rapists who were described as being middle-aged, of normal height and stature, wearing hooded jackets, dark jeans and boots. If you witnessed anything that can help to find the criminals please call the local police station under 101-284-3.
