To be Glade, hopefully.
He traverses across the forest, stopping only when he couldn't go on anymore. He didn't stop when he saw delicate little flowers, delicious green grasses, delectable fruits and berries, and kept on moving in his delirious state from hunger. He didn't stop when he saw swift rivers, sweet mountain springs, swelling ponds, and kept on moving with his vision swirling and unfocused from thirst. He didn't stop when he saw compressed beds of moss, comfortable shades of trees, comparably safe caves, and kept on moving with his limbs complaining with the strain of tiredness. Stopping to eat only when it felt like his stomach was so empty it had long turned to dust, peristalsis grinding empty intestines together in an attempt to move non-existent food through. Stopping to drink only when the thirst was so extreme his gums had long gone dry, the body no longer able to spare enough moisture to even produce saliva. Stopping to sleep only when his body shut down on its own, no longer able to keep itself upright in its exhaustion. For he couldn't stop, and kept on walking until he couldn't remember why he couldn't stop; he then did stop, for he couldn't remember why he couldn't stop.

Stopping to drink long before the thirst was so extreme his gums had long gone dry, the body able to spare enough moisture to produce plenty saliva. Stopping to sleep before his body shut down on its own, never getting to the point it was no longer able to keep itself upright in its exhaustion. For he could stop, and kept on walking until he stopped, as he couldn't remember why he couldn't stop.
