It was the early 1900's when I was born. My creator had very little, not even his own carriage, yet in his small workshop he worked diligently to create me. Crafting such fine details in my face and trapping people would know I am his center of pride. Something he thought could be beautiful and bring joy to all, regardless of age. As he finished my final details he looked me in the eyes and gave me my name: Karussell. Appropriate since I was to be the centerpiece on his crowning achievement, a Carousel. He had been pouring many years of his life into the creation of all the animals, attractions, and adornments on this carousel and it was indeed of grandiose proportions. Shortly after its establishment my name was shortened to "Russell" by the many children that came to visit me, and it was the name I continued my life with. As I continued with my life however, my creator's was shortening until finally he passed. My life kept turning though, as things tend to on a carousel, I watched children grow with the passing of time then outgrow me. Some did return with children of their own from time to time, and this always brought me the most joy. As the ages passed, however, there was noticeably less room for me- and less need for me. Soon after I found myself dismantled from my brothers and sisters and separated, I was in a pawn shop and they were wherever the winds had taken them. It was then that my hope began to fade, I was looking for one last ray of light, then she appeared. She had no idea what she was looking for but she knew she had found it when she saw me. Even though I was faded my time she saw my beauty and took me home. It was awe-inspiring seeing someone work as diligently as my creator, I did not think there were any people like that left. Yet, she had made me beautiful again. Now I spend my time as her crowning restoration achievement inside Adriadna's Party Lounge enjoying myself with friends. I never thought after bringing so much joy to others that someone would take the time to bring joy to me. Life has never been better.
