Hakon came to this world long time ago, unfortunately not long enough, dragons were practically extinct when he was born, the days were his species used to rule the lands and skies was part of the myths now, but one can not miss what never knew; Hakon despite it all was happy.
His mother left him and his father short after he hatched out, all three hearts were broken, but she was sick* and could not bear the idea of infecting her son, his father make every possible effort to give him the best life circumstances would aloud, and succeeded in a way, the little dragon learned to fly and hide himself at the same time, to hunt and fish, and against all odds to breath fire*; though sneaking was harder for creatures larger than a horse, Hakon and his father were very skilled at it, and with the proper cautions they once in a while would make it a game. There were just the two of them for the firsts years of his life, his dad was all he needed from the world that clearly would not accept him, but he would not pay attention to it either, next to his father he had his home. But then, dad had different ideas, before Hakon was born, he had heard about a forest isolated enough where other forgotten creatures lived safely; at lest rumors said that, and even if it was too good to be truth, it was worth paying it a visit; some birds, specially eagles, had still a few memories and connections with the forgotten creatures, and even if dragons were never acquainted with regular animals, they shared some flying signals which now will help to communicate with the birds aware of this forest and it's inhabitants. Hakon was the one who performed the call, his dad taught him carefully how to fly, every single movement with it's respective length; it was safer for both if the smaller dragon would fly to caught the attention of the birds, since the bigger one could also caught the attention of the humans. Fortune was on their side, and they got a quick response, but there was no time to think about it, the eagle only had one word for them, come.

The wind moved the curtains, which allowed the sunlight to come in and reach Hakon's eyes, he turned his head, placed it above his left arm for a few seconds, before noticing it was about time to wake up. He did it then, tried to look back at the window to confirm how late it was but his eyes weren't ready for the light yet; he then saw the rest of the room, that room again. He wasn't supposed to be there, it was not his place, a dragon inside a house, that wasn't right; but then again, where was his place? Outside with the others, with that rock self called dragon and the little one... the little one, he was a fine young dragon, eager to learn, and Hakon was more than willing to teach him, but he could do nothing more, he couldn't think of him as his family, he had tried to see him as a little brother, but that kind of relation needs time and caring, things he had never gave to the little dragon; no, not to him, but to her... He turned again at the window, this time able to contemplate the daylight; he thought about going out, he had to leave the room, but he didn't wanted to, not so fast at least; there was plenty of time to go hide somewhere else, to do nothing outside those walls, he wouldn't rush, there was no need, instead he'd wait for her to wake up.
