Ava's best friend, dream guardian is Dreamseer. Dreamseer was found by Ava living in the ruined stable block. Ava and Dreamseer were companions at a distance a long time before trust developed. Dreamseer is not a dog as Ava believed she is a gifted blackmatter telenine. Dreamseer actually came to Subeta from far away to be Ava's dream guardian. Before Subeta was created Dreamseer was to make Ava's dream come true when the time was right. Ava did notice Dreamseer was always there waiting for her. Also the wild animals at the ruined stable block looked upon Dreamseer as leader. In a strange way she was the pack leader including Ava in her pack.One day this changed. Ava arrived as usual to read. The dark dog was agitated, waiting for her. She greeted Ava briefly and turned towards the stable block looked back to make sure Ava was following. There on the stable block floor was a dying strange looking animal Ava had never seen before. And strangely enough next to him was a dead rabbit. Ava's heart went to him and she was determined to save him. She went for water gave him drops from her hankie. She skinned the rabbit and carefully cut it into the tiniest pieces. This took days but she was able to start him on the road to recovery. One day Ava started talking to Stranger (the recovering animal), "Good you are a rabbit eater. If you werenot I would have had to find tender grass, leaves to soak for you." Dreamseer reacted to her as if a jolt went thru her. Looking into Ava's eyes she saw a large deer like animal laying flat, every rib was showing the backbone was almost skeleton like. "Magnificent creature, take me the animal I see in your eyes. Follow me".Ava followed Dreamseeker across fields over fences over a broken down boundary fence. After Ava got up from her undignified fall "we are on Lord Phoenix land now." Dreamseeker went straight for a substantial barn, circled it to go into the back where a large sliding door was wide open. She turned right into a room of box stalls. Dreamseeker jumped the half door and Ava opened the latch. The animal was unable to lift his head and Ava gave him water by drops. She stayed with him for days. Only leaving to get medicinal herbs grasses she knew baby grazing animals started eating. When Vor was able to talk, by this time Ava knew animals could talk to humans if they wanted to, he told her what he knew about black market animal trade. He told her it was not Lord Phoenix who ordered him but an overseer. The overseer left him to die. Ava had heard that Lord Phoenix overseer had accidentally died in a hunting accident. In his ramblings Vor spoke of his friend/mate Nien. She had gone to another wealthy estate in Delhi. Ava knew of this place but not in association with neelas. Ava went to her father and brother with the information she had. Her brother like Ava loved animals could not abide wild animals being taken from their homes by force. Her brother did some investigating and due to threat of exposing the Delhi person of receiving a black market animal Nien was to be released to Ava. Also links to black market abduction of Blackmoons Endeavors and Cadogres eggs were found by Ava's brother. And most distressing family pet anyus were stolen to transport the large Blackmoon eggs. To make a long story short Ava, Dreamseeker, Vor with a military escort walked to Delhi with the purpose of collecting Nien. The news of this traveling party went ahead of them and joining them were many many other black market animals that had escaped from unsuitable homes and were living wild. Transporation by water was arranged by contacts thru Ava's father. The dream of Dreamseeker came true. Ava's Neela Sanctuary a valley high in unchartered land not accessible to humans. Ava had to fly into it on the back of an agreeable paralix.
