He is accompanied by a crow spirit by the name of Callisto. Where he goes, she often follows. They are fast friends.
His true name is Alkaios, but Callisto often teasingly calls him Snipsnap due to the constant idle jaw-snapping he does, especially when deep in thought. It sort of stuck.
He is usually drawn to budding adventurers or those who are lacking in confidence so that he may provide protection and strength until they are more than capable on their own.
