Killer Bee was rapidly loosing wing strength. She never realized the amount of energy needed to fly. It was more than she had now. Suddenly Bee plunged straight down landing in a field of wild flowers. The flowers broke her fall and she landed gently on a tuff of heavy grass. Bee just laid there looking up at the sky where she should be. In a while she thought... [soft snores heard in the otherwise quiet field].Bee was woken up to see a large worried face filling her entire field of vision. Bee was terrified. "Oh, excuse me you lovely pink ... creature. I thought you were a flower. Are you alright? Don't be frightened of me. Gyr is my name. I was just flying over when I thought I would investigate the beauty of the wild flowers. I am from much farther north.""You're all white" gasped Bee. "Well, you are all pink." Bee giggled (she giggled at the most inappropriate times). Her giggles increased in frequency and volume. Eventually Bee got control of herself to ask politely what kind of animal was he? "You are so white and big.""Glacier Paralix. Where I live is all white, ice and snow. I have never seen such a lovely all pink creature like yourself. You are very small tho. What are you doing here by yourself? It is not safe."Bee started buzzing and buzz she did! Strangely Gyr understood her. Gyr's concern ripped open all the fears, hurts of Bee's life. Bee finished her lengthy life story sobbing "No one has ever been nice to me before. I am always made fun of. My name is Killer Bee."Gyr simply said "We'll change your name. You will be likely from now on." Unlike as they are Gyr and Kiley became best friends. They spent many happy days in the meadow bordered by the bubbling brook. Kiley didnot face the facts these could could not last. She enjoyed every minute, fluttered about Gyr's head. They were always together.One day as they were adventuring Gyr heard the distant rustling of Paralix wings. Looking up he saw the small form of a Graveyard Paralix. Gyr knew it was the legendary Khronus. The paralix form a protection league for Subeta. Khronus would land as Gyr was not in his own territory. It was only courtesy Khronus would find out if there was a need. And there was a need Kiley could not be left alone.Gyr told Kiley another paralix was coming and to be safe at his land she needed to flatten herself between his withers.Khronus was a magnificent creature. After the paralix formal greetings the question was asked why Gyr was spending so many days in this pasture. Gyr smiled and said he had found a very small creature who needed help. "Kiley come out and introduce yourself to Khronus." To Khronus surprise this very round bustling bumbus flew above Gyr's head. Khronus had never meet an individual bumbus. He was entranced by such a small creature. Kiley had changed fromm quiet suffering bumbus to talkative happy bumbus. Kiley was bustling about Khronus head admiring him and commenting upon all his lovely features. It could be said Kiley had an attitude...The conversation got around to Kiley being by herself. Gyr mentioned to Khronus Ava might have need for such a lovely bumbus companion such as Kiley. It must be hard for Ava living by herself in her small vine covered cottage all alone. Khronus quick to see where this was heading agreed. Seriously Khronus shook his head. Yes all alone, true she cares for many neela but none will live inside with her.Kiley stopped her bustling about to become thoughtful. "Oh, I know what it is to be all alone. No one to talk to. No one to tell when funny things happen."Khronus said after a bit more introspection from Kiley that he could go and get Ava. Maybe they all could persuade Ava to have a companion like Kiley. "Yes, Yes do go and get Ava. She needs some one like me. I would not mind a small cottage to live in. It would be wonderful for Ava to have some one like me for a companion."Khronus flew to Ava's Valley Sanctuary to persuade Ava to come for Kiley. Ava agreed Kiley could not be left where Gyr found her. Gyr had to continue his voyage to return home. Kiley's only hope was Kiley would offer to live with Ava.Ava and Khronus flew back to the pasture. Gyr and an impatient Kiley waited for them. Instead of being patient and safe on Gyr's back Kiley was jumping staight up and down. Every time Gyr said you are not on my back where I told you to be Kiley in her piping voice said (when she was on his back) Yes I am very fast before jumping straight up.Ava and Kiley had a great time laughing about this. A friendship was formed. Gyr made his Fare Well to Kiley and promised he would come visit. Shortly after Khronus with Ava and Kiley on his back flew to Ava's Valley Sanctuary, to a new life for the both of them.
