She's light where he is dark. Everything about her is passion and love, a burning existence that's scorching through the galaxy. She's a being of warmth, radiating out to all around her but its easy enough for her to take that away also. Burns so bright she snuffs out the oxygen and you're left struggling to breath on the ground while she stands over you, towering sentinel with bitter eyes and no regrets.

She's stationed aboard the biggest dreadnought in the Galactic Navy - the Diana. There's rumours about her and the Captain but no one dares pry deeper than ship scuttlebutt so she lives a relatively peaceful existence for a Naval commander. She's skilled with a rifle - automatic or sniper - but can't use a shotgun to save her life. Literally. Survived three shots to her chest, Naval body armour good for something it seems. Promoted for that because apparently if you don't die you're suddenly worthy to help lead a ship and thats when she's first paired with Siobhan. Its all downhill from there.
To the crew she's more a friend than a leader. Siobhan gives the orders and she provides the support. They know she's to be feared on the battlefield, wouldn't dare get in her way when she's holding a gun, but otherwise she's a warm personality, drawing them in, forging friendships with them all, including the alien species they work with. To Siobhan, she's just Remi, a bit too loud, a bit too determined, a bit too sweet and far too broken.

Their current mission has them chasing down a terrorist organisation, believe to be human extremists who have a vendetta about Earth's military forces being unified with those of the other space-flight species. Its much more dangerous than their previous task of colonisation of the outer reaches, but the 55th Earth Fleet is the most resilient and has the most advanced ships available. She's been through the meat-grinder on several planets by now and they're still struggling to catch up to the organisation calling themselves 'Thanatos'. They're terrorists, label themselves as such without any shame and their current strikes have targeted many populous culture hubs, including Phobos, Darwin, Ringan and Al-Jae, all worlds that had many settlements of all different species residing in them. The result has shaken the galactic community, but the crew of the Diana refuse to let themselves be unnerved. The crew bar Remi that is.
After the attack on Darwin, Remi stared down her own brother for the third time in her life, rifle heavy in her hands as she watched him clamber into an emergency shuttle with a small handful of 'Thanatos' operatives. She's kept quiet about it, only letting Siobhan and Magz know, but its a heavy weight on her heart, the knowledge that her brother has helped kill thousands of civilians. She knows her own hands aren't clean but the sacrifices she made were out of necessity while his were a result of a deluded view of the galaxy and its inhabitants.
