"Copper Bird"

Jittery 🜨 Haughty 🜨 Curator

Jittery
Despite being a machine, Kupfer Vogel's nerves are sorely far from steel. They're incredibly prone to bouts of anxiety. A constant cloud of worry keeps a tingle of bluish electricity dancing on their skin, an attractive but irritating luminescence. When especially stressed - or flustered - they vent steam from their shoulders in thick, hissing clouds that can scald the skin. The obvious nature of their condition only increases the degree to which they fret. Kupfer greatly fears their jitters ruin their reputation, and as they are unable to fly due to their iron weight, they are unable to spy on their associates and find out.

Haughty
For a nervous wreck concerned with how others perceive them, Kupfer Vogel remains remarkably arrogant. In addition to gushing hot air when embarrassed, they steam when frustrated, too. And how easily frustrated they are with the inadequacies they perceive in others. Kupher Vogel considers biological entities excessively noisy and clumsy. Machines, they hold, are better, as they have complete control over their volume and bodily motion. That they lack control over their emotion is a failing they do not comment on.

Curator
Their precision and dexterity is noticeably high, however; they are not wrong to consider it good. Their role in the home is that of the housekeeper, and they maintain as clean a home as possible with an alchemist in training and numerous, messier occupants in residency. Their own spaces are kept up with fastidiously. Kupfer Vogel is a collector of items which remind them of themselves; vintage odds and ends, most of which are fashioned from metal. They are also fond of colored glasses capable of catching the light. His noon-time ritual is to adjust his carefully curated display. Much to his dismay, the young bloodred Telanine is supposed to 'help' him with this activity to curb his bloodlust. Kupfer detests this with all his wires.
