Gluttonous
Where he comes from, his kind eat souls. Here in the Lake District, the opportunity rarely arises. He's always, always hungry. Regular food just doesn't suffice. Runde spends the bulk of his waking hours shoveling food into his maw. He knows it will never cut it, but frankly, at this point he just likes the taste. Some of his favorites are a little disgusting. As to what happens to food shoved in stuffing, no one really wants to know.

Grumpy
Runde openly dislikes his housemates. He wouldn't live anywhere at all, except that he can't go home, and the cottage is warm and dry and cheap, and sometimes Hannes has actual tasks for him that sort of satisfy his yearnings for souls. Otherwise, he spits and spats with his housemates, especially over nose. After eating, his major occupation is sleeping, and everyone is always too loud for his liking. He's of the strong opinion that midday is for napping, not clattering and shouting.

Soft
Surprisingly, though, behind Runde's gruff exterior is a sweet thing. He genuinely enjoys cuddling, quilts, and being read to. He is just reluctant to admit that. So, he pretends to constantly be cross, even in the hours he is not.
