- Amaliel, male, ageless. Ancient angel of punishment, weakness and repentance. Watches over his own kind and the abyss. Serves as a jailor, punisher and executioner for
Inuriel's. Brother to
Amatiel.
- Quiet, distant. Hides his emotions behind an unflinching gaze. Obedient to his god. Not cruel or malicious. Efficient, strict, disciplined, but also patient and wise. A slow, patient teacher. Sees all forms of divine punishment and chastising as a way to improve the self. He has no say in the verdicts of his god, he simply carries them out.
- Always obedient and silent, Amaliel has not noticed when the
godslayer had inflitrated their society, presented himself as their god and forced him to send dozens of innocents to the abyss in his blind love for his maker.
- Something broke inside him beyond repair when he learned what he was used for. Though he is still devoted to Inuriel, he has left his post without being ordered to and he has set out to find the godslayer himself in order to bring him to justice by any means necessary. He refuses to allow his own inaction to take many lives again.
-
His brother seeks to find him and to try and quell his brother's thirst for rage before even more of their kind get hurt.
- Is proficient with all weapons, but is especially fond of morningstars. Less proficient with magic, but holds some control over the element of water.
- Fond of mortals, silently admires their resilience and their ability to learn and grow from their mistakes, something his kind has great difficulty doing.
Character appearance:
- Very tall (over 14 feet, 4.2m+), broad and heavy in build. Clad in heavy, silver-colored armor with a helmet hiding his face, and a rich, burgundy cloak draped over his left shoulder. He is very easily mistaken for an enormous monument when he keeps still.
- Cold, expressionless face. Ash-blue skin, softly glowing blue eyes.
- Ash-colored wings that seem to shimmer and fade out of view when you're not looking at them.
- Radiates an aura that brings clarity of thought and temporarily strip emotions from the mind.
