Constantinople

He was a barrista near the Shadowgen part of Subeta. And after living there for many years he saw many strange and unusual things. At first he loved making coffees and talking with the customers. Because even though he was not much of a reader he considered himself to be a lover of all the various peoples that came in. Nothing made his day brighter than serving up a cup of coffee and hearing the gossip that everyone dished out about people he never got to meet in his corner of the world.

One year they put in a machine that had odd stories that confused his brains. Every day there was more talk of wars around the world with images included. As the days continued the clientele seemed to change.Gone was the cheerful ones happy to go about their day with a cup of Joe as a nice break. In starts coming those with paranoia about the soon to be end of the world. And being simple he could not get those thoughts out of his head. More so when the new customers wanted to spend time with him and left reading material.

After reading and watching all of this along with the fumes of the caffeine and the acceptance of the people he finally snapped. Along with his new friends who believe now the end of the word is too long reaching its conclusion , they in their gear bring destruction around the world. The only things they leave behind in their wake is blood, newly tainted things to spread the mayhem and the scent of coffee wafting gently through the air
