Perfectly pressed khaki pants. Silk ties as far as the eye could see. Oatmeal waterfalls spilling complex carbs into an ocean of decaff coffee.

An every man's dream and one Fred found hard to leave, he tries to hold on as his alarm clock peels away the walls of his dream and beckons Fred into wakedom. As he lies beneath his pressed cornflower blue sheets, brushing sleep from his eyes, Fred wonders if today is the day he would try something new, perhaps have something besides Oatmeal for breakfast. Looking around mischievously, Fred chuckles to himself, pleased with his little joke, knowing full well he would never deviate from his usual routine. He had oatmeal the day before, he'll have oatmeal today, just has he has eaten since he was a child. No bacon and eggs in this household. Carefully pulling back the sheets, he slips from the bed, guiding his feet into the fluffy cornflower blue slippers that wait by his bed stand as he rises; scratching himself, he shuffles to the restroom where he will complete his morning routine that he's had for as long as he can remember (check for dandruff on his balding scalp, inspect teeth and then brush, reinspect, wipe down the sink and mirror, put on the same robe he's had since the 90's, wonder if the crack in the ceiling as gotten any longer, accidentally bump into the door on his way out).

Fred is boring. I'll be adding a lot more soon to his story but that's the gist of it.
