personality: dusty is a flirt and a friend. he loves to talk, and is quiet the air-head. he never seems shy and is always flinging himself on his friends. he enjoys physical contact and is quiet a giver. but get on his bad side and dusty will beat you to kingdom come, then hunt you down, drag you back through the pearly gates and down to earth, just to beat you up again.

dusty grew up with seven siblings, all of whom he can't remember for the life of him. when he was six, his mother left him on a bus; to busy taking care of the other children. for a while, he was even in the news. not that he cared! dusty eagerly embraced his new found freedom, learning early how to steal and weasel and get his way into peoples hearts just enough so they would feed and dress him, but not enough to care when he disappeared again.
when he was fourteen, dusty fell in love. or maybe it was lust. either way, he moved in with a much older man and tried to worm into his heart like he had so many other people. and once he was snug and happy, he tried to dig deeper. he wanted to be the one that james loved, the one he cherished. but the more he tried to learn, the more james pushed him away, until one day he just disappeared; just like dusty had done so many times before. the fourteen year old was heart-broken, and wandered around the house for months until it was sold and he had to leave.
since then, dusty has been careful about the whole love angle, and tries to keep things on the lighter side. recently he has come across a small-time job as a waiter, and along with the money he makes from panhandling, he has been able to buy an apartment.
he made friends with a co-worker (nate) who was fired after sleeping on shift, and now lives with him. they bicker and argue like a married couple, and nate is probably the closest person to dusty right now. he down-right loves the man like a brother.
