The days blurred by in Burnana's lower class upbringing. His parents couldn't afford to be constantly buying their son new toys to satiate his appetite for new things and adventure. The one thing they did save up for, and eventually gave him, was a family summer vacation to Delphi Beach when he was twelve. Sure, it was made cheaper by the fact that Burnana's aunt and uncle lived right there and they could stay with them, but he loved it.It was at Delphi that Burnana finally found his one true passion: surfing.
For that one summer, Burnana spent all day everyday hitting the water. On the first day he'd watched a Kumos take to the waves on a board, and from that moment on Burnana knew that this was what he wanted to do. Those two months spent at the beach were perhaps the happiest moments of Burnana's childhood. When his uncle saw how keen the youngster was for surfing, he presented Burnana with his first board: a handcrafted wooden masterpiece. True, it probably wasn't a 'masterpiece' in the eyes of most and certainly not in the eyes of experts, but it sure was to young Burnana.
To be finished. Sometime. When I remember to work on this.
