Spirits gather here...


An orange Kumos has been rumored to wander these parts. She is kind to all that dwells in these dark meadows, taking care to adopt lost minions and nurture plants back to life. She collects rocks, seeds, flowers, and trinkets, though, no one is sure why. When the sun is up, she is nowhere to be found, but when night falls, she can be seen walking through the hairgrass, occasionally inspecting the ground closely.


Another night searching for seeds



Those who find themselves wandering into the deep woods on the outskirts of Veta and Riverside, will often catch glimpses of the legendary Kumos and sometimes even a fiery blue Jollin as well. Their relationship is unknown but they are often always seen together tending to trees or play-fighting. When Fireside comes around, their appearances are more frequent and they too often throw offerings into the large pyre.

Efforts of those in the area, in particular, Peka Glade National Park, have improved the ecosystems variety of species, quality of life, and overall scenery of the park. Through local action and consumer education, the world of Subeta improved it's ecological footprint and paved way for a brighter future to all pets, people, and plants. Because of this, Flower has been welcomed by the community, regardless of the mysteriousness of her origin and sociability.

Life has a beginning...


The trees are gone and the smell of rotting wood filled the air. My soul somehow felt heavier at the sudden realization that there were no songbirds greeting my morning. How did this happen? Decayed branches and stumps littered the ground for miles.

"Flower?" A familiar ephemeral voice called out to me. A blue spirit materialized from a nearby tree stump.

"Ikari." I nodded. "My brother."

"What happened here?" His eyes scanned the scenery.

"Humans, no doubt. I am unaware of the purpose."

Ikari nodded and offered no words of wisdom or comfort, he knew that this was where I wanted to be, where I needed to be.

"I will come with you today. I'll help you tend to the trees." He stamped his front paw in the ground with a new eager confidence.

My worried gaze ignored the death in front of me and met the life in my brothers. Blue hues danced on his body with each quiver of flame, whenever he was in a particularly good or bad mood they moved and twirled more than usual.

I chuckled. "Of course, my little brother is always welcome company."

He frowned; more blue, more erratic dancing. "I am not so little anymore!"

My grin grew wider at his protest. "Yes, yes. If you're not so little, then you can handle the slash and burn of this area of the forest."

I had expected my request to be a drag, but that eager confidence exhumed out of him again. He nodded.

"I will be at your side to rescue any surviving critters and to harvest seeds. Please... don't burn me."

He held his head up high. "I'll be extra careful!"

I ran towards the first cleared area of trees. "Race you there, *little* brother!" He growled and chased closely after me.
