Profile: Violent and hotheaded, Awaing was raised by her father, a professional kick boxer who taught her how to fight. While growing up with her dad and all his martial-artist friends, Awaing developed a strong sense of vanity about herself, as she is very beautiful compared to the mutilated fighters that she is use to seeing. Perhaps not surprising, she puts a high value on physical beauty and can be very superficial. This often bring her in conflict with Kurtahame, who is very ugly, but has a high value on maturity, which Awaing certainly lacks. Awaing certainly has been spoiled by her dad. She is often is very bossy and desires to be in control. However, she lacks the maturity or the foresight to be a good leader, as she usually only thinks of herself. Despite being obviously a tomboy, Awaing hides her desire to be more feminine. She dreams of someday growing a garden, but believes she lacks any sense of nurturing required to aid flowers in growing. This is because her temper is oftentimes so destructive. Awaing and Scap are best friends, having grown up together. Scap has noted that Awaing has a sort of “princess-complex,” and that although she is strong and independent, she is only interested in strong men who can protect her, despite it being unnecessary. Awaing and Wyssu are twins sisters, but the two have never gotten along. As children they fought so bad that their parents eventually were forced to separate them. This lead to Wyssu leaving with her mother, who moved in with her parents up north, and Awaing being raised by their father down in the tropics. Awaing’s short temper and violent tendencies bring her in conflict with Wyssu, who is calm, sarcastic, and a fierce pacifist. However, Awaing is also jealous of her sister, as Wyssu got to grow up in a environment that didn’t shun her femininity, and was also raised in their grandparent’s home. Which happen to be, of all things, a castle. Awaing is very experienced at camping and wilderness survival, having also learned these things from her father. She is also an amazing cook, which is perhaps her only feminine trait.
