Always lurking about the local cemetery that he can not leave for long amounts of time, Ed spends his time when not preforming, literally digging around. In life he had been a famous musician and the front man of a up and coming band. Someone whom had everything in life going for him, for once. His dreams were becoming his reality, only to be brutally crushed when he was murdered. A pointless crime committed by a petty, disgustingly fake, jealous friend.
Feeling pity and annoyance that the rare new talent could be erased by such a brutal and selfish murder. A local necromancer waited for his body to be laid to rest. Then used the captured murderers life force to resurrect the fallen musician. Upon reawakening Ed realized he was not only no longer human, but doomed to forever sing songs of a vengeance his very existence denies him. He knows that in death he will never find any true peace, as all he feels is cheated out of his previous life, his revenge, and even his old life's dreams. Sometimes he thinks that living this half life is by far, indeed a fate worse than death..
His only solace is found in busy work and his ever faithful friend Xanthus, whom refuses to leave his side even in death. His questionable new friends and clients from the mage guild (whom he does various odd jobs for when gigs are slow) make Ed's unlife bearable.. And if he happens to help liberate a few things to re-purpose from the nearby crypts and plots, honestly who's going to sit up to complain about it?
