The little artistic blob kitty sat on the street corner, cheerfully painting away. What was he drawing? It was hard to tell; he wasn't very skilled at it yet. Nevertheless he happily continued with his work. A few subetans, pets and owners alike, took glances over his shoulder as they walked by him.

"What is that even supposed to be?"

"The colors clash. It's really not pretty at all."

"Looks like somebody failed art class."

"What is anatomy?"

People could be mean about his work, but Adwin tried not to let it get to him. He was an artistic blob kitty, and he wanted to live up to his name--Adwin meant Artist. He set down his paintbrush for a moment and picked up a canister of glitter, shaking the contents of it onto the wet paint so it would dry with a sparkle.

"Ugh, real ones wouldn't sparkle." Someone commented as they passed on the street.

Disheartened, Adwin lowered the glitter can he held in his tail. If everyone hated it, maybe it really was bad. Maybe it was worthless--

"I think it's cool."

Adwin perked up his ears, looking back. In the sea of common-colored pets, a blacklight devonti stood behind him. Her horns and hooves glittered silver, and the black wool of her coat was dyed at the tip with rainbow colors. Adwin felt his little artistic-blob-kitty-heart thump in his chest. Someone liked it! Someone liked his work! He flung himself upon her with a hug, wanting to show all his appreciation for her single kind comment in the sea of negativity that surrounded him.

"Aww, you're a sweetie, aren't you? I'm Yadira. What's your name?" The devonti asked.

The blob kitty presented her with his painting, signed with a pawprint at the bottom. Luckily, all subeta pets could read minion language.

"Adwin." Yadira read aloud. The artistic blob kitty nodded his head eagerly. "That's a lovely name. I hear it means 'artist'. 'Yadira' means 'worthy.'" Yadira smiled at the minion before gently petting him on the head. "I think your art is worthy. Don't let anyone change your mind."

Adwin beamed up at Yadira with glittering eyes. Finally, he'd found someone who understood him. That was how this minion found his owner, and that was how his owner found her minion.
