So it's very rare to see somebody not only accepting the animals in their garden but even going out of their way and filling it with plants that different kinds of snails like so they can all find food.
Anthea lived in such a garden together with many other snails and decided it was time to thank that nice person harboring them. So she talked to all the other snails about different ideas to thank the gardener.
All ideas were quickly ruled out due to their impracticality or because they didn't know if humans liked the same food as them. There even was the idea of an orchestra but there was no way they could get instruments, let alone play instruments more than ten times their size!
Anthea really liked the idea of playing music so she didn't want to let it go.
In the end the solution was to build the instruments themselves out of materials they could find in the garden.
It took them a long time to build all their different instruments but it took even longer to learn how to play them and to practise their piece.
One morning they decided they were ready so they decorated their small stage with flowers and leaves and prepared everything for their concert. They knew the person would come to the garden in the evening.
They always came in the evening to water the plants but this time they were stopped in their tracks seeing the snails that were all gathered on a small stage. The gardener was floored when the snails started playing the most beautiful song on their tiny instruments.
