Note For Human Form: I'm not super well versed in early Medieval Chinese court fashion, but I think her outfit should look somewhere between the above images and this reference picture.

Note for Dragon Form: Although I'm using a Mahar [s](because I don't think the Paralix has been updated since I joined nearly a decade ago)[/s], Huifeng should look more or less like a typical Chinese dragon: long, snake-like body, four short, skinny legs, horns that look like tree branches, with a mane of fur around her head and a tuft of fur at the end of her tail.

"The Dragon Empress"

Long ago the dragon known as Huifeng came to the small village of Xiaojiang. She found the village and its near-by river particularly beautiful, and thus claimed it for her own. At first, the people were frightened by her. She killed and ate livestock and amused herself by conjuring storms and kidnapping young women only to release them--shaken but unharmed--days or weeks later. Although dragons were supposed to be a sign of good luck and a beacon of wisdom, Huifeng was little more than a nuisance that terrorized the town. Still, none of the townspeople dared to try to chase her away. She was more playful than malicious, and the only thing they feared more than her games was her wrath.

Huifeng's antics lasted until a group of bandits threatened the village. The raiders took the village as an easy target and set out to pillage anything of value they could get their hands on. Huifeng heard the screaming and came to investigate. Upon seeing outsiders attacking the village and people she had come to see has hers, Huifeng became enraged. She viciously attacked the bandits and drove them off.

The people were extremely grateful and sought to thank her. Just outside of the village they built a small shrine where they brought livestock for Huifeng to eat. The dragon was pleased by the gifts. Although fun to harass the people, she found this situation much more pleasing and repaid the favor by summoning gentle rains to keep the villagers' crops healthy. The villagers likewise continued to provide her food along with other gifts.

Under Huifeng's care and protection, the village gradually grew and prospered. Now when Huifeng captured young women, they became her honored attendants rather than frightened prisoners. Furthermore, she began to visit the village in human form so that she might better interact with her charges. The people adored her, and she became a beloved guardian rather than a menace. As more and more money flowed into the town, adulation grew and her tiny shrine became a palace. Though she remained removed from the governing of the town, her good or ill favor heavily influenced who held power. It was for this reason that she earned the nickname "The Dragon Empress."

Huifeng continues to live in luxury in her palace surrounded by human attendants, but should the need ever arise, she is just as fierce as the Duardian Deity of Xiaojiang as she was as the wild beast that drove those bandits away all of those years ago.
