Shar-Pei is one of few toys that remained somewhat intact after the great disaster that struck Coalfell. Within this seal-boy doll is the spirit of an angry husband, one who did not fulfill his promise of brutally beating his grown so into shape. This older gentleman believed in ways of old and that men had complete control of their households and wives. He ruled his small kingdom with an iron fist and was very disliked by everyone in town, even the mayor. The family's death was not a swift one either as they suffered thanks to the 'king' of said family.
Unfortunately for them, their souls transfered into different objects within the house. The husband in particular was thrown within the confines of his son's favorite toy, a seal boy he called Shar-Pei. The man is angry and blames everyone and everything else for his misery. If one is unlucky enough to venture to Coalfell, they'd do well to steer clear of the home that is identified by its large bird weathervane.
