As one of the four directions guardian, Granny guards the south.
A refined marble doll brought to life by the underworld defence forces around two millennia ago, with the intent of collecting data from the surface tribes while keeping the surface mist under control.
As keeping the mist away is a hard job, to make her own life easier she gathered the near vagabonds to work for her, creating the Commissioner’s clan. And after some years working on building trust with the people, now all she has to do is evaluating the people's requests and assigning the job to someone who is both willing, and capable of completing it without mayor injuries, then share the payment. As she always says, work smarter not harder.
Due to not being given a name when brought to life, she would come up with a different name every few decades, but that was getting annoying to others so her long lasting companions stuck to calling her granny. Not her cup of tea, but it can't be denied she helped raise the whole village and their grand grand parents.
She uses her knitting needleas a wand to cast spells. No one has ever seen her actually knitting, but she swears she can do it, just not when anyone is looking. Btw don't make Granny mad, or she will stitch your mouth!
