The harsh winds whistle through the mountain tops as the sun peaks over the edge.

"Frosty!!" Nips chirped in excitement, "How much longer do you think it will be until we find the perfect home?!"

Frost Bite let out a low grumble, and pressed forward, against the wind.

Frost Bite had never been much for conversation. Or company, for that matter. But Nips was another story. They had a way of being able to communicate without Frost Bite even having to say a word. She could do without the nickname though.

"Don't you just love the weather up here?!" Nips squeaked, happily.
He hopped up on Frost Bite's back, and she could feel his feet cling to her fur to hold tight against the wind. "I'm glad I have you here," Nips said quietly into Frost Bite's ear, "I think I would blow away if I didn't have you to hold on to!"

Walking against the wind, the pair traveled for what seemed like hours, as the snow storm grew in intensity around them.
Visibility was getting low, and Frost Bite knew they would need to find shelter soon.

Suddenly, she spotted a shadow through the snow drifts that had consumed the mountainside, and squinted towards it to try and get a better look.

Nips hurriedly scurried to the top of Frost Bite's head, and pointed all of his eyes towards the form in the distance.
"Do you think it could be a cave?" Nips asked, "A cave for sleeping?! Perfect! My legs are tired!"

Frost Bite glanced over her shoulder at the spider, who was now comfortably lounging, nestled in her thick fur. She shot a sharp, sarcastic glace his way before Nips sprung to his own defense.
"Don't look at me like that, Frosty! I have twice as many legs as you do!"

Frosty rolled her eyes and shook her head, letting out a small sigh. Her breath catching in the air, and flying away in the breeze like a thick cloud.
She watched it float away, until it disappeared in the wind, and turned back towards the shadow. But it had vanished!

All of Frost Bite's fur stood on edge, and Nips sprung up on her head once more, his small pedipalps gripping her fur, and trembling with fear.

"Where did the cave go?! Caves can't move! C-can they?" Nips' voice trembled as he clung closer to Frost Bite.

Frost Bite narrowed her eyes, crouching low into a snow bank for cover, while Nips watched her back.

Suddenly, a loud roar echoed around the pair. Still trying to find the disappearing shadow, and, now, the source of this blood-curdling noise, the pair spotted nothing but walls of snow surrounding them. Over the howling winds, Frost Bite heard a low thud, followed by another, and then another. They were growing louder, and something was moving towards them at great speed!

Suddenly, a large shadow appeared, and Frost Bite, jumped out of the way, just as a massive yeti exploded out of the sea of white snow surrounding them!!
