Read Part One||Part two

My blood ran cold. Slowly, I looked up to the sky. What I saw was so mind-boggling that the flashlight I was holding fell out of my hands, rolling down the steps and into the grass.

Up in the sky was a huge flying saucer, with bright white lights all around the side. They flashed back and forth from white, to red, to green, then finally, to blue, before repeating the pattern again. Above the lights were windows, but the scariest part was what I saw inside the craft.

I could just make our the sillhoutes of dozens of short creatures, with big tear-drop shaped heads and deep, dark, hollow looking eyes.



I could only tell you what the eyes looked like because they were the blackest black I've ever seen. And I've painted with the world record setting Blackest Black paint by Stuart Semple before, which is an Acyrlic paint enginered by NASA to absorb 99% of all light.

But no. These eyes were far darker and more hollow, yet somehow also filled with a vibrent, light, energy. I could somehow tell this was true even though I could only make out their sillhoutes. The darkness of their eyes was just so extreme that it looked as though there were holes in the sky where their eyes should be, even at that distance.

Suddenly one of the figurines turned and looked directly at me. It raised it arm and pointed.



The buzzing grew louder, and louder, until it was all that filled my ears. I could feel the ground vibrating, yet the night was earily quiet. Where were the dogs? An intense wave of panic washed over me as I saw more and more creatures turn towards me. It seemed like thousands of these horrible, dark, empty eyes were staring at me. Staring into my soul.

They wouldn't stop staring. I could feel them digging deeper and deeper into my inner conciousness. I open my mouth to try and tell them to stop, but all I could do was scream...



Suddenly, it felt like I was falling backwards into my bed. I awoke with a jolt. Ugh, I hated dreams like that. I sat up and picked up my phone that was sitting on the nightstand. It was 1:45 am, Damn! I slept in again and now I was going to have a makeup all my homeroom classes.

I yawned and stepped out of bed. I walked to the living room and into the living room to let my dogs out. As I reached for the door, something stopped me.

Wait a second... didn't this just happen? Wasn't I just... outside looking at the sky?

I made it about halfway through the living room when I heard/felt it... soft at first, but stronger the closer to the door I got. A low buzzing noise...

......BBBBBBBZZZZZZZZZZTTTTTTT........

Gathering up all the courage I could, I walked over to the door, threw it open, and looked up into the sky.

To my relief, there was nothing there but stars.



I breathed a sigh of relief, then started chuckling. Did I really thing there was a UFO in my yard? Clearly it was just a dream.

The dogs were sniffing around in the grass as I sat down on the steps of our home, waiting for them to finish doing their business.

Suddenly, there was an explosion of white light. It was so bright that it illuminated my entire yard. Thinking it might just be our flood light, I stood up to give it a look at and make sure no one was in our yard. But before I even had a chance, the hair on my arms began to stand up. Even though it was warm outside, I started shivering as goosebumps began to form on me.

Slowly, I turned my eyes to the sky. What was that in the sky? I could see something shimmering, but couldn't make out any type of vehicle or aircraft...

Just then there was a loud POP! and the the ship appeared. It was as if someone had put an invisiblity cloak over the ufo to try and hide it.

Terrified, my mind started racing.

Was this Unidentified Flying Object really using cloaking ablities? Does this mean it could be military related? Was it going to hurt me or my dogs?

Before I could figure out what to do, there was another bright flash of white light. I sheilded my, eyes squinting heavily, trying to see if I could hear signs of another living being in this strange place. I didn't get the chance though...

Suddenly, I was falling... falling...it felt like I was falling backwards onto my bed.
I awoke with a rough jolt. Ugh, I hated dreams like that.
I sat up, realizing that I was drenched in sweat despite it being cold in the house. I picked up my phone that was sitting on the nightstand. It was 4:50 am! Oh no! Not only had I overslept, but I had been a no-call-no-show for the first time ever in my six years of employment!

I leaped out of bed and practically sprinted to the front door so I could let the pupper's outside. I opened the front door to let my two dogs out.

I didn't have to look up at the sky this time to know what it was, I knew the UFO was already there. .. Was I dreaming? Can it turn invisible on a whim? What did this UFO want? Knowing that I had to do something, I ran into the bedroom and shook my, then-boyfriend, violently. Despite my best efforts, though, he wouldn't wake up. It was almost as if someone had cast a spell on him or paused him so he wouldn't wake up.

Getting frustrated, my eyelids started feeling heavier and heavier. The bed seems so much warmer and inviting than the usual...

Wait...

There's a UFO outside.
...but I'm so tired..

I tried to sit up, but I couldn't. I tried to move, but I couldn't
That was the first time in my life that I had ever had sleep paralysis. It was terrifying..

As I lay in bed, unable to open my eyes, I could hear the creeking noise that my closet door makes when I open it. Was someone in my room?

I could hear russling around my room. It was though I had left the window open and a strong breeze was blowing in, but I was positive that I hadn't done that.

"The air seemed unusually thick tonight..." I thought

Just then, my eyes snapped open. Everything was blurry, and I still couldn't move, but I could make out a gray creature with black eyes gliding across the room. It was almost as if it was floating instead of walking.




The little gray dude walked over to me, stared at me for a moment, then placed his hand on top of my head. I immediately became extremely dizzy and nauseous as the room started spinning. Then everything went dark.

I opened my eyes. Where was I?
I still couldn't move, so I just lay there, looking around and trying to figure out my next move.

I was laying on a table and by the feel of it, my legs and arms were restrained. The room was bright white and everything look impeccably clean. I think there were other people being restrained too, but I couldn't see them from the angle I was at, I could just hear them yelling. Made me wonder what these creatures had instore for me.
