For years I've wanted to name a pet after myself, but unfortunately, my name was taken by another pet! Getting creative, I tried naming some of my pets similar names, or my name scrambled, and in one case, the name I was originally intended to have--though my mother removed one letter to keep my name from having too many syllables altogether.

Thanks to Subeta's name policy changes, I'm finally able to give a pet my own name. I let my friends and family choose the species and color, asking them which pet seemed most like me, out of the pets and colors I don't have already. The winner, with the most votes for having my sort of vibes, was the Spectrum Kerubi (: Thank you to the Subeta team for changing the name system, for this wonderful site, and for the beautiful artwork that continues to delight me and my family I'm happy to be able to make this pet on my birthday in 2021 and share my name with it the way I've wanted to since I first joined!
