Personality:

A cold and cynical young man that prefers to keep his distance. He's untrusting of people and really doesn't care to be helpful unless there is something to be gained. Though his dearest (and really only) friend, Ike, is attempting to help him become more amenable; Soren continues to only open up to him where it counts. Often hard at work studying all things from land to magic, Soren does everything he can to keep his mind sharp for the roads ahead. He pushes most people away, but truly does have a very empathic sense of emotions. Even though his undying loyalty only applies to Ike, it exists nonetheless. And that's what counts. His bitter outlook is likely derived from the rough past he's endured; being verbally abused by his adopted mother and horribly overworked by the sage she sold him to. Even down to nearly starving to death on the streets, before Ike saved his life.

Other:

Soren met Ike about fourteen years ago, when the latter found him starving and feral in the back alleyways of a cityscape. Ike took Soren to the House of Loving Counsel for help, and even though he still doesn't greatly trust the group, they did help him with his transition when he decided to go from female to male. He has not yet however had bottom surgery, as the idea of having a child with Ike (though he won't admit to it nor his feelings of love just yet) does appeal to him. Even though he refuses to directly consider any of them family, he does have to admit that the House is a greater family than he's ever really known.
