Why, hello! It's been such a long while since a traveler has stumbled across my little neck of the woods! You must have strayed far from the beaten path quite significantly to make it all the way here! Please watch your step. I don't want you flattening my garden or my little fungi friends. They're all quite delicate and I'd rather see them not crushed.

Oh, but how rude of me! Babbling along without even introducing myself! My name is Lolotte! Welcome to my humble Mushroom Glade!

Now that that's over with, you must be famished from your impromptu trek. Please help yourself to some of the mushrooms that grow here. Hmm? Are you afraid they may be poisonous? Oh, don't you worry about that! Despite the appearances of some I promise they're all perfectly edible and not inherently dangerous! However, they all have various odd... Hmm.. Let's call them "side-effects."

See this morel? It looks ordinary enough and tastes wonderful but it could turn your tongue purple, make flowers grow from your head, enable you to breathe underwater or any number of other bizarre maladies. But you needn't worry. All of this is temporary, albeit randomly so. They could last from an hour or two to nearly a month. Don't go thinking that eating the same kind of fungi will grant the same ability. Magic is funny that way! And before you ask, no, I don't know which fungi do what. Not that I'd tell even if I did, tee-hee!
