Bio: Longwei Khyre was born, as they say, "with a silver spoon in his mouth." His family, while small, held control over a fairly expansive territory in southwestern China. His childhood was fairly uneventful, though peaceful, save for the passing of his father when he was 4, when he was barely old enough to remember. He grew up surrounded by loving relatives, who all doted on him, his mother especially, as he was the heir to the family fortune. by the time he was 10 he had become quite sick of it, and for this reason enjoyed the time spent with his distant cousin Lin, who, only being a few years older than him, saw him as just another kid, and treated him as such. Demeanor: Rex's outward persona is very much that of the classic haughty "old money" elegant older gentleman. He appears solemn, with perhaps a slight sneer upon his face. He makes no unnecessary movements; he sits and stands very still, and when he does move, he does so very quietly, save for the clicking of his cane. He has very proper posture when out on buisness, though when at home he sits in a more relaxed position because of his back pain.
Personality: Rex acts very much as his demeanor would suggest. He is very critical of others, and once he makes judgments about a person he stubbornly sticks to these perceptions. He generally appears to be calm, though it is often a thin layer above his actual irritable mood. He finds the presence of most people to be insufferable, save a few close friends, his adopted daughter Terri, and his butler, Thomas. With these select few people, as well as among the books in his expansive library, Rex finds his peaceful place where he can be found being truly calm. Outside his manor Rex tends to be ill at ease, especially due to his aversion to most weather and changes in temperature. He does not feel comfortable in large groups of people, mainly due to the noise, and thus rarely leaves his estate for anything other than business calls, though he has been known to do so on occasion.
