All I wanted to do was to be a racer.

But my family discouraged it.

They felt my brother was better suited for a racing career.

So I had to settle for car maintenance work in our family's auto shop.

As the years passed, I became familiar with different fuels and which ones helped ensure the best performance for a car. Upon hearing my community complain about increasing fuel prices, I decided to try creating a new type of gasoline. After many, many attempts I managed to create a formula that looked promising.

But one night, things took a horrific turn.

A group of mages stormed into our home and auto shop. They cast a spell, and all my family members were transformed into common objects and taken away. Except me. I was left behind in our home, transformed into an ice cube.

The first few weeks after the mages' attack, I felt completely lost. I had to learn how to live life without my hands and feet. I was unable to keep the family auto shop open, and I only avoided losing my home due to the generosity of my friends and neighbors. But I preserved. I buried myself in my research, determined to complete my new gasoline and raise my family's business back from the ashes.

And....my desire to race grew even stronger.
