The Owl of the Magical Library
Hootapher runs a giant magical library full to the brim with books. On his many journeys around places both known and unknown, he is on the constant search for books he knows are not part of his collection. Once he is done with one of his many trips he brings back any of the books he finds to add to the library. If they need some repairs prior to being added he will bring them to his study that is so secret that none staff knows where the magical owl goes when working on his projects or simply to sleep the day away until nightfall.As part of the process of adding the book to the library, Hootapher will add a little bit of magic to the book so that the book can be summoned when the book is desired. When checked out the magic will removed to avoid accidentally summoning and once the book is returned he will put the spell back onto the book.
In order to run such a large library, Hootapher hires many creatures to help him in his journey to run what he believes to be his perfect library. On rare occasions he will even use his magic to enchant items to life. These special enchanted objects often can only be seen during the night, when Hootapher is awake to maintain the spells.
