Jaracho glanced down at her watch and gave a slight sigh. Master of the timestreams, able to slip through the dimensions at will... and he was still late. She got up from her chair again and paced once more around the small office, occasionally stopping to read one of the several clipped newspaper articles or peer at the faded photos framed on the walls. She found it intriguing that many of them no longer existed in this reality, though they were a constant reminder of what could happen if things went wrong. She paused once again at the faded photo of a black haired German military man proudly holding the hands of a smiling set of young identical twin boys and wondered what would have happened if that stream had truly come to pass.

A slight buzzing noise by the desk caught her attention and as she watched, a golden blob shaped like a person shimmered and began to take form behind it. She smiled and went over to sit opposite, seating herself just as an elderly silver haired man fully appeared in the chair. He immediately leaned forward resting his elbows on the desk, steepling long fingers under his chin, and smiled at her.

"Ahhh, Jara, good of you to come! Did you have a good, erm... vacation?" he asked.

"Vacation?? Ohhh yes... haha" Jara laughed. Her recent assignment had been a nice change, no anti-time protesters to ward off or terrorists to catch... just plain research, not dangerous at all. She smiled and continued "Indeed sir, the Egyptians certainly were as delightful as you stated they would be. And that solar eclipse was fantastic... I gained so much information for my report!"

"Good to hear, I only wish all our assignments were as pleasant. Speaking of which, I have your next assignment" He paused as she took out her timelog and waited as she set the recorder on. Once she was set he continued.

"As you know, the first Saturn V rocket was tested... successfully I must add... beginning of November of 1967. It was because of this successful test that the space program for the Earth country United States of America was permitted to continue, eventually leading to where we are today, with colonies on many planets, including here on Subeta. Now, I have reason to believe that someone, or a few someones actually, we're not sure how many... are about to tamper with that timeline and change it so the testing does not go off as planned... in fact not only does the rocket not launch setting back the space program as we know it, but in fact explodes drastically, killing quite a number of people, many of whom are quite important in later timestreams."

"Your job, my dear, is to not only see that the rocket is successful in its launch, but I need that saboteur and their cronies caught. This type of time terrorist attacks have been done before and I believe it is the same group. They need to be removed immediately. You are the best I have at apprehending multiple targets, can I count on you to succeed?"

"Not a worry, sir. I will need to requisition one of the new cloakers, as well as a pair stasis stunners." she said.

"You have my authority to request anything needed for the capture of these people." She turned off the recorder. Standing she replaced the little device into her robes, then headed toward the door. "And Jara" he called. She turned to face him. "Use of deadly force is permitted here, though if possible bring them in alive. Good luck!"

Jara smiled grimly and continued out the door as a buzzing sound behind her slowly began.
