Something utterly unspeakable was born.So Vile that to say its name would to bring death and misfortune to any that spoke its true name.

A descendant of the demon asp, Apep and a concubine Demi-Goddess capable of manipulating the weather. An unspeakable evil much like Apep that speaking the serpent's name is Taboo. Only terrible events and misfortune follow. He is known as the Unspeakable one.

From inside her womb The serpent devoured his mother, thus being born. Later the gods freed the devoured demi-Goddess. even though she was not a full Goddess she had survived being devoured by the snake that grew in her womb. Much like its demon father, it can be defeated but never completely destroyed. Sent to the underworld to later return.

Any mortal, or formerly mortal being should take heed to not be swallowed by it. To be devoured by the serpent is a death beyond death, no soul, no afterlife you simply cease to exist. No god can reverse those destroyed from being swallowed by the Asp. Night or day it roams the sky as a rolling thunderstorm. The distant rumble of thunder is said to be the sound of its scaled belly slithering across the sky.
