My name is Elyxae. That`s Eh-leek-zay.
It rolls off the tongue, no?
Most just call me `The Monster Hunter`.
I hate that title.
It wasn`t always like this...Once, I lived simply.
Some may recall the antics of my youth.
Liar, swindler, thief. I did it all.

Until one day, this old, sickly dragon decided to fall from the sky and land on top of me.

I told you to stop calling me `old`, Ely.

And I told you to stop calling me `Ely`.

If only I wasn`t inebriated that night, I might have been able to avoid the clumsy beast. Alas, I did not.
Upon waking up I discovered two things.
First, that the bumpkins of this town believed me a hero for having `slain` the dragon.Second, that the dragon wasn`t dead atall. But only I knew that she had decided to take up residence in my body.

There are some benefits to having a dragon soul hitchhiking in your body.
For instance, the old hag won`t let me die, and heals most of my injuries without fail.
I have also found that I am much more physically fit, and capable of things I was not capable of previously.
All of this would be fine on its own,
but the townsfolk decided I should be the one to rid them of every beastie around.
To my dismay, word spread...and now I am the regional Monster Hunter for hire.
