He watched as his ally and close friend Aneria in the north became more and more watchful, as the more and more every day land to the north, west, and east became more populated by subetians and their partners. soon the populations became to large for Ann to manage and so she called for his help, seeing that things were getting out of hand a bit in the north. Kin answered her call and not a moment too soon, as more and more subetians appeared every day it became a full on task to keep watch over the ice's of the north and to keep them in balance with the rest of Subeta. Kin and Ann are known by the others as a "pairing" helping each other in need and watching out for each other as well. As Kin wandered the northern ice's he felt a deep longing for the southern ice, not just to be there once again but because it called out to him like it was in pain. Sensing this being in the wrong he rushed back to the south taking to the sky as this was the fastest way, But as he flew a pain in his chest started to grow, something was definitely wrong with the ice, something was attacking it and causing disharmony. Pushing himself he soon came to his destination a foreboding feeling already in his heart as to what he'd most likely find. Kin walked only a few steps into the thick grayish mist before it was blown away by a hash wind, He stopped where he stood to all appearances the Ice itself looked fine and to anyone who ever wandered this way would say the same, but kin knew......The life, the true living force of the southern ice was gone leaving a desolate chill that raised even his fur to stand on end. A single tear was shed before he let out a gut wrenching keen like howl out across the ice, feelings of sorrow and loss traveling across it and out across Subeta. "How could this have happened" he howled in sorrow once more before turning and heading back the way he came back to the edge of the ice, his wings lowered to drag in the silted snow as he walked. "why" he muttered still walking, he would not travel so quickly back to the north and his partner Ann. Kin still had to see if there was any life left there on the southern ice, any sign of life, even if he knew wouldn't. Continuing, he walked alone across the tundra. The ice that had once been his home but was now no more then a desolate land mass of ice and snow. Hospitable and Home now to no one.To Be Continued.........?
