[Back Story]

For starters, Syndes had unfit parents. His mother was secretly an alcoholic and his father always felt as if his authority was being challenged by his own son's presence and felt it appropriate to make sure he stayed on top. Because of this, Syndes had screwed up visions of people in general and drowned himself in music and alcohol.

He ran away when he was 13 to expand his career in music. When he found it difficult to live on his own, after 10 years, he came back home to find he had a little sister, Whispic. His mother apologized to him for being a horrible parent and explained that his father had been murdered about 8 months after he left home. She also explained how, after he had run away, they both had realized their ignorance was wrong and vowed to love and care for their next child as they should have done with Syndes.

During those 10 years, Syndes turned from a hard, angry boy to a more layed-back and accepting man. After his experiences , he too, vowed to take care of Whispic with his reformed mother.
