Sometimes, you should just stop and look at the little things around you.
The darkness is creeping in the shadows, waiting for me to make only one wrong step. Only one, and it will come. It will kill me and do other horrible things to me. I try to run away, then suddenly... a rainbow zebra with dancing carrots on it's back? I wake up. Yep, another silly dream. Sometimes, I wonder what I've drunk before bed to get those vivid and random dreams, but maybe my imagination is just like that. I dress-up, go to the bus station, catch my bus, and go to school. They tease me and laugh at me, but they don't mean it. I'm sure they don't. I come home and I watch some television, rest up a bit. Today is another sunny day, and I might just as well go for a walk. After all, I live in one of the nicest places on earth. Then I call my "best friend" asking her to go out with me. She is with her fiance again, like always, and says we'll talk another time. Okay, fine. Then I call my other two friends. I always try yo be the best I can for them, but they enjoy each other a lot more than they like talking to me. And of course, who am I trying to fool that I just can "turn" into their bestie and be accepted with their "best-friendship-ness" I don't mind it.
Or maybe sometimes I do.
Sometimes it hurts, and I am a normal person - sometimes, I let it go and just cry it out; then I act like I am fine, and later even believing I am fine. But I won't let that ruin my life. Then I am all cheerful and friendly again. I'm not that fancy or have a unique story of my life, no! My story isn't 1000 pages long, including a sad and painful childhood, nor does it have any special stuff like winning a competition or being a talanted singer, dancer, artist, writer, and others. But that doesn't mean I should just give up and throw away everything. My life is simple, and I love it like this. Today is another sunny day, and I might just as well go for a walk. After all, I live in one of the nicest places on earth, and it won't matter if I go out alone again.
