Conley is the sole proprietor of an "olde tyme" saloon in business in the West. People come in to the establishment thinking it's a tourist attraction due to its hokey old appearance and typical Western architecture. She is very formal about everything she does, including meeting and greeting her many customers, both the regulars and the tourists. She is debonair and flirtatious, conniving and intelligent. The only thing that most others can't tell about her is that she is a steamwork; underneath of all of the cosmetic skin and untamed hair are gears and valves pumping away to keep her moving. No one suspects a thing of the well-known seductive businesswoman known as Conley Sterling.

STORY

The Old West, 1910
"Finally," he breathed, stepping back to look at his masterpiece, "my work is complete." The elderly man stood back to admire his creation, placing his hands smugly on his hips. The steamwork was beautiful; her skin was flawless and realistic enough to tempt even he, as he remembered dressing her bare body. Vacant copper eyes stared straight ahead and seemed to burn a gaze into the space behind him. "Now let's get you up and running, my dearest." The scientist's breath reeked of whiskey and tonic as he panted over his steamwork's head and twisted one last gear into place. Clink! The woman's eyes began moving around the room. "Haha! I've done it! Hello, darling," he spoke to the woman as his eyes filled with ecstasy, "my name is Williams! I have made you to be my wife and carry on my legacy after I die!"

The lonely old man named Williams had to plot every step out in order to keep the suspicion of the sheriff and the locals away from him. He ployed a carriage to meet him outside of his house one night, where he placed his new wife into the buggy and paid the driver double after instructing him to leave and return the next morning without looking inside the buggy. The spectacle of his wife arriving had thrilled the village. Williams had regaled the locals with stories of how his young, attractive wife would grace them soon. He wrote her letters every other day and she was to soon arrive! When the carriage pulled up and his steamwork gracefully stepped out, the locals were at a loss. He hadn't been lying! The woman waved sweetly to everyone as the saloon owner escorted her inside.

Over the next few weeks she quickly picked up English and how to greet people normally. Williams had to explain multiple times that she was "shy" and "not used to the Western behavior", and also had to give her a name due to these interactions. Conley Sterling. Over the years she became a regular social butterfly; she encountered customers on the street and would inquire them about how subjects they'd arisen earlier were now going. The townsfolk marveled at her ability to remember the most minute detail of their stories!

As time passed by the months turned into years, and Williams passed away in his sleep. Conley was at his bedside as he coughed up his last dying breath. The poor steamwork couldn't feel any sadness, just helplessness from losing her life guide. What if she had questions? What about the unknown? After much processing and internal debate, she decided she would do what she knew how to do. Run the saloon.

The West, 2010
Conley still runs the saloon. People are attracted to the pub because of its "old tyme" values and ideas, and some have even chosen to make it a regular in their routine to stop by and marvel at Ms. Sterling's grace and beauty. Oddly enough, no one has noticed Conley's infinite youth; those who had watched her back in 1910 would move away or pass away before they noticed her maintained youth. Now, she is a very high-class and respected businesswoman who lives in the old ways of the West. She plays dirty, likes to seduce, and has no human emotion.
