From birth Demichev was intent on inheriting great power,and changing the world as we know it. Throughout his life Demichev was plotting and scheming on how he would rule the world one day. After he completed school Demichev went on to study in the field of science. Demichev was able to land a job with the Russian Military.

In the early 50s, the Russian Government was exploring on an unmarked island off the coast looking for oar to power their machines, when their workers stumbled upon an unknown element. The element turned out to be very powerful. This element was soon to be called E99. As the news came back to the government on the mainland,they decided to make further use of this element,and thus set up facilities on the island to make further studies of the E99 element. Eventually the government decided to name the island Katorga-12,and sent workers and their families to the island to harvest the E99.

The scientists,including Demichev were able to invent many different machines and weapons that would enable Russia to be one of the major superpowers in the world. The government thought these new weapons would enable them to invade and take over the United States and the rest of the world. Russia then began experimentations that should help to solidify the country as the world’s only major superpower. Then in 1955, while trying to speed up the completion of the E99 project, there was a mysterious accident that caused Katorga-12, and the E99 project, to be completely abandoned.

However, fifty-five years later,Demichev has returned to Katorga-12 in search of a device that one of his fellow colleagues invented called the TMD (Time Manipulation Device),which would allow Demichev to travel through time rifts,which would take him to different points in time.

As Demichev searches the island for the TMD,he encounters two men,named Nathaniel Renko and Devlin. He apprehends these two men who turn out to be two U.S. agents have crash landed on the island after coming out to investigate mysterious shockwaves emitted from the island.

Demichev decides that these two men might compromise his mission,and kills Devlin,and right has he puts the gun to Nathaniel's head he his shot at from nowhere,and forces him to take cover.

During this distraction Nathaniel has escaped. Demichev sends his men right on his tail. After giving a good chase the men somehow manage to lose his trace. Demichev orders his men to scour the island and apprehend Nathaniel.

Demichev soon remembers that the creatures inhabiting the island are mutants from the accident in 1955,from where the giant E99 generator exploded instantly killing thousands. But,the surviving people were mutated in to flesh-eating monsters. He also recalls the great fire before the explosion and how he just managed to escape. He recalls that the mysterious man that saved him from his death looked much like Nathaniel

Demichev soon gets reports from his men that they have seen Nathaniel with a strange device on his arm.Demichev realizes that this device has to be the TMD. But as soon as Demichev arrives to the area where Nathaniel was spotted,the squad that called it in were all dead and Nathaniel was nowhere in sight.

Demichev then relentlessly searched the island for Nathaniel. And then one day he caught a break,and was able to corner Nathaniel,and convince him that he could give him untold power if he just gave his complete loyalty to Demichev. Nathaniel realizes that he could help rule the world with Demichev,and agrees to give his complete loyalty to Demichev.

Demichev,with Nathaniel commanding his armies with the power of the TMD he was able to crush any resistance to his power. Demichev vanquished all of his adversaries and invaded all remaining countries of the world. Demichv then declared himself the dictator of the world.
