Finally, she found the fabled "Sorcerer's Stone" and was able to gain immortality, though not her true form. She became so engrossed in her own sorrow that the little bit of magic she had left turned the forest that she lived in into an ice cold wilderness. And she herself turned into a bitter and nasty queen, consumed by her anger and sadness.
