Cyborgs, or Cy, lives in a "post apocalyptic" world. Poisoned by pollution and crushed by wars. People live in scattered towns and cities, slowly rebuilding, while much of the world remains in ruin, wastelands barren or crowded with rubble and debris.

Cyborgs is a spirit of a once thriving forest, residing in its rotting, poisoned remains. It shows itself in a white feline like form with a long thick tail and feathered wings. Cyborgs' face is shrouded with a shimmering white mist and chunks of its fur are torn away to reveal oily mechanical parts.

Cy can be recognised by the distinct ticking of its parts and the sound of birds singing, though many years have passed since a bird has sung in Cy's home, some have reported hearing trees rustling, a flowing stream or even howling wolves. The sounds that acompany Cyborgs can be heard from great distances and echo in a way that initially confused people, making them think that there were more than one of these creatures, gaining Cy its plural name. When it became clear that there was only one of the "Cyborgs" they began shortening it to Cy.

Cy is known to behave differently depending on how it is approached. Cy will most likley not respond to speech, and if a person attempts to get too close Cy will disapear instantly. These behaviours are considered neutral. Friendly behaviour can be seen If a person approaches Cy with plants, seeds, nuts, fruits, or even fertile soil. Cyborgs will show signs of joy, the tears in its fur will close and the mist shrouding its face will partially lift to reveal a smile. After a minute or so, Cy will disappear again.

Provoking aggressive behaviour in Cyborgs is very dangerous and easily life threatening. Pointing a weapon at Cy will aggitate the spirit, Cy will growl angrily until the weapon is safley tucked away. Disrespecting the remains of the forest will also recieve the same response. Continuing to show disrespect or trying to attack Cyborgs will cause it to become furious, the tears in its fur become larger, features twisted, its fur standing on end, dagger like claws protuding from its paws, the sounds of birds replaced with screeching metal. Cyborgs will attack ferociously and will not stop untill the intruder has left the boundaries of the forest, sometimes they will not make it out.

Before venturing near Cyborgs' home travellers are informed of Cy and warned not to provoke the spirit. Cy only wants to protect its home and will not harm others unless they threaten its safetey.
