Personality: Formerly a cautious man, Ellery would now gladly take whatever hand or food where offered him... being shipwrecked alone for so long can do that to a man. But he is honest, and a good worker, if a bit forward at times. Even with recent events, he still respects the sea, and although it may have left a bad taste in his mouth, it is the life he has always known, and will probably return to it.
Likes: Warm blankets, hot and large meals, someone (anyone) to share bed-warmth with.
Dislikes: Large birds, the wind and rain at night, storms, cliffs, this damned quiet.





Ellery, poor Ellery. All it was was a regular trip down to trade with the southern colonies. But woe, a storm to blow the ship off course and bash it to the reefs, and the poor young man hasn't a clue where he is anymore, or if any of the other crew survived. At least the bits of ship that have washed ashore have made a shelter, even if it leaks with the rain and blows over with the wind. Ellery was never very good at building homes, though.
The land is the western edge of an island, a slip of beach and vegetation and fruit-bearing trees inward, it was cut off from the bulk of the island by sheer cliffs that Ellery could never manage to scale. He sets himself to making do with fruit, and whatever small bird or fish he can catch for food, until he can construct himself a proper raft or find himself another way off this wretched beach.
