Did you know? I have a beautiful wife. We were just wed yesterday. She made the most delicious punch I ever tasted! It was a grand wedding. The makeup she has left on from yesterday is perfect. Her skin is so soft and lovely. She loves to wear red, did you know? Red is my favorite color. That morning, she put on her red lipstick, smear it just so that it's messy, but still dazzling. She even puts on her dress in disarray, and most my family are horrified that she does it so improperly. But I love her. She is perfect.

Did you know? The towns people are leaving. I am truly sad, as even my friends are beginning to look at me with disgust. I don't know why. I am only a poor cook. My family is beginning to leave too. They run away from me when I approach, and I don't know why. But my wife will stay at my side. She loves me, and I love her. It is all I need. If they must leave, then go. But I will stay, with my artwork, and my wife. For she is my all. My one and only. And I love her.

Did you know? My poor darling is suffering from cancer now. I think it's cancer at least. I didn't know the effects of it could set in so quickly. After all, it's only been two days since our wedding. Her hair is thin and scattered across her scalp, and it's falling out in clumps. I am sad when I look at it, and she is too. So I gave her a wig. It's a beautiful wig, made from the softest of horse hairs. I dyed it red with some of my mixtures, so now it smells sweet and looks good. It makes me happy to see her wear it. She never takes it off now. Her large, dark eyes seem to smile at me, and her skin is softer than ever.

Did you know? My wife has gotten so pale! I am a little worried, so I went to bring her some food. She loves the things I cook, you see. They're all red. So beautifully red. I went to see my friend. She's a waitress. She taught me how to arrange food so nicely on trays! So I decided to bring her home with me. I'm sure my wife will be delighted to see her. We will have a good, heartfelt chat over dinner tonight. There will be a lot of meat, for my wife loves meat. It will be nice and tender, just the way my friend taught me. After all, I must put her to good use!

Did you know? My wife is so skinny now. I feed her quite often, and I must say her stomach is getting a bit fat (to the point of bulging, even!), but she never gains any meat on her face or limbs. It worries me! And she looks so tired. I wonder what's wrong? The bags under her eyes are so dark... Maybe she's not sleeping well? In any case, she won't let me call the doctor. She says there's nothing wrong. I will tend to her for as long as I can. I still love her. She's so beautiful.

Did you know? My wife has such clean teeth! She likes to show it off quite often right now. She smiles so often, I can't help but smile back. The last few days have been a mess, since her stomach has suddenly lost a lot of the fat I mentioned before. But she smells a bit funny, so I sprayed some perfume on her. She loves it, of course. To be honest, we've been wed a whole month now. I've always wanted to settle down. I wonder if we'll be able to have a baby soon? But it's her choice of course; I will be so pleased if she says yes.

Did you know? My family has returned. I was so happy! They brought some strange friends with them. They were dressed in uniform, and they had some strange projectile object. It clicked sometimes, and they put little cylinder shaped things into them. I saw them do it, I was very interested. But in any case, I showed them home! I let them walk around the house, and tried to introduce them to my wife! She looked stunning! A bit thin, but the dark red dress complimented her deep eyes so well! I told them she was sick, but how strangely they looked at me. My mother screamed, and her eyes widened so much, I thought they would pop out! And everyone started to run, and the strange men in uniform raised their projectile objects at us. There was a loud bang, but it missed me, and it hit my wife! I was so angry. I gently put my wife down on her chair, for her legs were so bony they couldn't hold up her weight, and ran towards them with my knives. They sang such a high-pitched melody, and they made so much punch. I wonder why they did that at this sort with of time. But in any case, they made a real mess out of my house. I was angry with my parents too, so I did the same to them. I know it was bad that I hit them with my knives, but they made a real mess!

There was so much red from the punch. But I guess I don't mind.
I love red after all. I love it so much.
